2. Train-the-teacher

Considering self-reliance is a core value of KforC, therefore we work together with local education organizations in Cameroon and Uganda. Through partnerships we are able to further awareness about interactive teaching, and the importance of a reading culture.

All teachers in our programme receive the following training:

1) How to handle textbooks

2) How to use textbooks in class

3) Use of interactive methods

4) Re-use of local materials as teaching tools
